PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal identification information acquisition method and a personal identification information acquisition system that can accurately use a movement locus of a mouse as personal identification information. SOLUTION: A mouse movement locus represented by a mouse movement signal input as the mouse 35 is moved is calculated as changes with time on polar coordinates in terms of a distance r from an origin O set at a predetermined point and an angleθbetween a segment produced by the distance r from the origin and a predetermined coordinate axis X passing the origin O, and the changes with time on the polar coordinates are stored as information identifying each individual user.
