PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch device and an adjusting mechanism which perform simplified pressure control. SOLUTION: This starter unit comprises a hydrodynamic coupling 1 having a pump wheel 6 and a turbine wheel 7 capable of forming a circulating flow 9 of operating medium into an operating space 8, a throttle member 40 movable with the adjusting mechanism capable of pressure operation on the circulating flow 9, and the clutch device 30 capable of pressure operation. For pressure operation, adjusting control pressure for pressure operation of the adjusting mechanism and clutch control pressure different from adjusting control pressure required for pressure operation of the clutch device 30 by a pressure difference can be imparted to a control pipe 60, in addition to an operating fluid flow-in part 15 and an operating fluid flow-out part 16.
