PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a servo signal writing device capable improving production efficiency by removing dust out of the servo signal writing device to suppress occurrence of head crash. SOLUTION: The servo signal writing device 40 includes a plurality of magnetic recording media 1, a magnetic head 5, a spindle motor 4, a surface plate 2 and a case 21 which forms a casing. The magnetic recording media 1 are formed in a disk shape. The magnetic head 5 performs input and output of data to the media 1. The spindle motor 4 rotates the media 1. The casing stores the media 1, the spindle motor 4, and the magnetic head 5. The casing has an air suction port 23 for sucking air and an air discharge port 24 for discharging air.
