PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping device of new structure capable of exhibiting an excellent vibration damping effect even against low-frequency large-amplitude vibration input to a vibration member of large mass, maintaining a compact size and excellent durability. SOLUTION: A metal leaf spring 16 is extended from a mass member 14 in the horizontal direction on both sides, and fitted to a vibration member 20, and a flexion 77 having a plurality of waveform is formed between a fitting part 72 of the leaf spring 16 to the mass member 14 and a fitting part 74 of the leaf spring 16 to the vibration member 20.
