DEFECT EVALUATING APPARATUS OF UNDERGROUND STRUCTURE, DEFECT EVALUATING METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR MAKING COMPUTER EXECUTE THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defect evaluating apparatus of an underground structure which easily evaluates degradation of the underground structure such as a metal pole in the site, a defect evaluating method and a program for making a computer execute the method. SOLUTION: The defect evaluating apparatus of the underground structure which evaluates the defects in a metal cylindrical element 31 existing under the ground, includes a probe 10 for partially contacting the metal cylindrical element 31 outside the ground, transmitting ultrasonic waves into the ground and detecting a reflection wave and an ultrasonic scanner 20 having an analysis means for receiving and analyzing the reflection wave 12 detected by the probe 10. The reflection wave 12 comprises waveform data corresponding to the defects in the underground direction. The analysis means includes a means for normalizing the waveform data, an angle detecting means for detecting a rise angle of the normalized waveform data from a predetermined level to a peak and an evaluation means for evaluating the degree of the defect based on the detected angle.
