PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain connecting tool drawing both ends of a chain body in a short period of time. SOLUTION: This chain connecting tool has: a pair of arm parts 3A and 3B respectively constituted by extending arm action parts 4a and 4b and arm operation parts 5a and 5b to the inverse side from an intermediate part, positioning the arm action parts 4a and 4b on one side of the intermediate part, arranging the intermediate part so as to superposably cross with each other and rotatably installed around a shaft on a shaft pin 14 penetrating through the superposed intermediate part; and a chain engaging member 10A having a pair of columnar engaging parts 11a fixed to the arm action parts 4a and 4b so as to project in the same direction to an equal distance position from the shaft pin 14 on the respective leading end sides of the arm action parts 4a and 4b.
