CUTTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device capable of cutting the stacked printed sheets without causing deviation of a cutting position of the sheets and preventing occurrence of out-of-position in printing in the cut printed matter. SOLUTION: A first reference side 15 of a bundle of the stacked printed sheets 11 is pressed against a back gage 29 for positioning. Then, the back gage 29 is rotated together with the printed sheet 11 so that a side of the printed matter 12 printed on the printing sheet 11 becomes parallel with a knife 31 based on the position information of a cutting position mark 14 measured in advance. The back gage 29 is moved in the directions for making it approach or leave the knife 31 together with the printed sheet 11 so that the side of the printed matter 12 agrees with a position to be cut by the knife 31 to cut a blank part on the printed sheet 11 by the knife 31.
