PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet capable of sustaining the excellent outside appearance without generating distortion caused by the heat of a range; a method of assembling the cabinet; and a kitchen unit without impairing the excellent outside appearance. SOLUTION: The box-shaped cabinet 1 includes a bottom board 5 whose outer surface is covered with an incombustible board 7, and side panels 3 jointed to the bottom board 5 in such a way that corners k orthogonally crossing the bottom board 5 are formed. An adhesive space 15 and an injection space 12 are formed between the jointed faces, and the bottom board 5 and each side panel 3 are connected to each other with an adhesive 20 injected into the injection space 12. The trace of the hardened adhesive 20 filled in the injection space 12 is covered with the incombustible board 7 material not to be exposed to the outer surface of the bottom board 5.
