The control unit (S) has an input for receiving information concerning an actual remaining range (RR) for a vehicle and an actual position of the vehicle. A selecting part selects service station information that is provided to a driver of the vehicle, based on the actual remaining range. The actual remaining range is based on a tank filling level (FS), an oil filling level and a washing water filling level.
