The method involves converting the radiation from an object by the scintillation crystal of the detector to the photons of light beam. The photons of light beam is converted to the corresponding electronic data that includes radiation interactive coordinate. The electronic data is filtered according to the depth within the scintillation crystal where radiation interaction takes place. The image indicating the detected radiation is reconstructed based on filtered data.
