PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of being embodied in a simple and small structure and suppressing the cost. SOLUTION: The electric power steering device PS has a control base board 9 split into a plurality of board portions 91 and 92. One of them 91 to constitute the base board 9 has lead pins 64 protruding at the periphery of a sensor coil 6 and connected with the board portion 91 in such a condition as inserted into a through hole 94 provided in the board portion 91, wherein the portions 91 and 92 are arranged along the peripheral surface of a housing 5.
