An image display control apparatus is provided to improve the display processing rate of a display screen, thereby providing information to a passenger at a quick proper point of time. An image display control apparatus(10) includes an image display control unit(11), a safety application image drawing area(12), a normal application image drawing area(13), a safety application executing unit(14a), a normal application executing unit(14b), and an input interface unit(15). If the safety application executing unit reads out all the executable codes to activate all safety applications in driving the image display control apparatus, the safety application executing unit writes preliminarily image data on fixed images of the safety applications with high and medium levels of urgency on a fixed image drawing area after an image drawing area managing unit(11a) acquires a resource(a storage area of the fixed image drawing area of the safety application image drawing area). The image display control unit includes the image drawing area managing unit, a normal application adjusting unit(11b), an application final adjusting unit(11c), and a display control unit(11d). The image drawing area managing unit acquires a resource from any of a fixed image drawing area(12a) of the safety application image drawing area, a variable image drawing area(12b), and an image drawing area(13a) of the normal application image drawing area. The normal application adjusting unit adjusts display requests of images outputted from normal applications, selects and determines the images of the normal applications according to predetermined display priorities. The application final adjusting unit adjusts a display request of the image of the safety application and a display request of the image of the normal application determined to be displayed on a display device(21), and controls the image of the safety application to be displayed on the display device preferentially. The display control unit controls display of the image corresponding to the display screen(21a) of the display device based on the image data transmitted from the application final adjusting unit.
