The invention relates to packaging and, in particular, to packaging for housing and displaying products intended for the end customer at points of sale. More specifically, the invention relates to a self-supporting dispensing and display packaging for transporting the product contained therein from the manufacturer to the points of sale. The self-supporting packaging can be easily dismantled for re-use since it includes a lower frame formed by four horizontal angular elements, with the horizontal plane positioned at the lower inner part, wherein the ends of said elements are joined by fittings having horizontal and vertical planes. The fitting is retained inside the vertex joining the vertical planes of the horizontal angular elements by coupling means which secure the planes to the vertical planes of the fittings. A fitting is placed at each corner of the frame and each fitting includes two segments, namely an inner segment separated from the vertical plane of the horizontal element, such as to form a slot in which one end of a vertical angular elements slides with grooves that surround one of the coupling means, and a segment adjoining the vertical plane of the horizontal angular element.
