ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic printer reducing missing of an image caused by an adhesive matter adhering to a photoreceptor.

SOLUTION: The electrophotographic printer is equipped with: a blade means provided so that it contacts with/separates from the surface of the photoreceptor between a cleaning means and a pre-processing means and its edge part may come into contact with the cleaning means; a drive means for making the blade means contact with/separate from the surface of the photoreceptor; a detection means for detecting the position of the blade means; and a control means for determining propriety of print operation on the basis of output from the detection means.
