<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic medical record system ensuring security, without requiring network connection in the case of browsing electronic medical records. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic medical record system is provided with: a medical record information management part 30 for storing the medical record information of a user; and a portable terminal 10 carried by the user for acquiring the medical record information from the medical record information management part 30 and storing the acquired information. The portable terminal 10 is configured to store the medical record information in such a state that the browsing processing of the medical record information acquired from the medical record information management part 30 is locked, and the electronic medical record system is further provided with a lock releasing device 20 for transmitting a lock release signal to release the lock of the medical record information to the portable terminal 10 when a vibration sensor 21 detects a static state in a fixed time or more.
