<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment with lighting in which a configuration can be simplified, miniaturization can be promoted, and the visibility of the light emitted from a light emitting diode can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: An outer edge 85A of a display panel 8 constituted in a transmittable state of light is arranged between a light transparent member 4 and a light emitting diode 71 and therefore, the light emitted from the light emitting diode 71 transmits the outer edge 85A of the display panel 8 and is emitted to the outside from the light transparent member 4. Accordingly, the immediate outer side of the display region being the region where the image in the display panel 8 is lighted and therefore, a user can visually recognize the light emitted from the display region of the display panel 8 without moving the visual lines so much from the display region of the display panel 8 and the visibility of the light emitted from the light emitting diode 71 can be improved. In addition, the light emitting diode 71 is provided in the position which is heretofore dead space to face the light transparent member 4 across the outer edge 85A of the display panel 8 and therefore, the miniaturization of the equipment can be promoted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
