<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to confirm a difference between a standard gamut image and an extension gamut image. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus uses a CCD in which a number of master photo-sensible pixels with relatively narrow dynamic range and high sensitivity and slave photo-sensible pixels with relatively wide dynamic range and low sensitivity are disposed in accordance with a predetermined array form, to extract image signals from the master photo-sensible pixels and the slave photo-sensible pixels through one time of exposure, displays on an image display means a first image created from first image information obtained from the master photo-sensible pixels, and displays on a display screen of the first image an image portion while emphasizing it, the image portion having a reproduction region extended by second image information with respect to the first image (180). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
