<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a location management system capable of managing a location of a moving body carrying an IC tag. <P>SOLUTION: The location management system includes a plurality of reader apparatus 1 which have reader information individually set thereto and transmit query signals to only specific monitor areas, an IC tag 2 which is carried by the moving body and has peculiar tag information, and external devices P connected to each reader apparatus 1 by wires. Each reader apparatus 1 is arranged in a plurality of monitor areas, and the IC tag 2 transmits the tag information to the reader apparatus 1 as a response signal upon reception of the query signal in a monitor area, and the reader apparatus 1 transmits its reader information to the external device P connected to it, together with the received tag information and recognizes location information of the moving body carrying the IC tag 2, from the received reader information and tag information and manages the location information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
