<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an "image processor" capable of exactly recognizing and displaying a solid object existing around a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor 100 includes: a viewpoint conversion part 120 which receives imaging data picked up by an imaging camera to generate a top view image; a solid object extraction part 122 which detects the solid object from the imaging data picked up by the imaging camera to extract the solid object; a solid object image generation part 124 which generates a solid object image according to the solid object extracted by the solid object extraction part 122 and an image synthesizing part 126 which synthesizes the solid object image generated by the solid object image generation part 124 with the top view image generated by the viewpoint conversion part 120. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
