<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power monitoring system for easily acquiring a time zone during which total electric energy usage is relatively low. <P>SOLUTION: A control part 2c of an energy management unit 2 includes: a storage means 2f for sequentially storing therein, in a time series, electric energy usage input from an arithmetic part 2b and classified by branch breaker; a comparison means 2d for reading out electric energy usage during a certain period before an input time point and electric energy usage during a certain period after the input time point to compare the two with each other at a time point when a certain period has elapsed after entering a comparison demanding signal if the demanding signal is input from a terminal device; and an image data generation means 2e generating image data for an image plane to report the result of comparison made by the comparison means 2d and transmitting the image data to the terminal device. Changes in electric energy usage during the certain periods before and after the input time point of the demanding signal can be reported to a user by causing an image display means of the terminal device to display the image plane for reporting the results of comparison. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
