<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter substrate which can display an image of sufficient brightness as a reflection type and an image of sufficient color intensity as a transmission type when used for a semi-transrellective electrooptical apparatus, which can decrease difference of image quality between a transmission type display system and a reflection type display system and further can achieve image display excellent in color reproducibility and white balance and further to provide an electrooptical apparatus, its manufacturing method and electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: In the electrooptical apparatus having a pair of substrates, one substrate has a reflection layer containing a transmission part where light can be substantially transmitted and a reflection part where light is reflected and another substrate has a colored layer including a first part and a second part. The first part and the second part contains pigment, the first part is superficially superposed on the transmission part, the second part is flatly superposed on the reflection part and a weight ratio of the pigment per unit weight in the first part is higher than that in the second part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
