PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of peeling a transfer material by a compact configuration, shortening warmup time, and providing a glossy image of high image quality especially in a color electrophotographic apparatus, and to provide an image forming apparatus having the fixing device. SOLUTION: The fixing device includes: a plurality of freely rotatable support members including at least one drive roller; an endless belt extended between the support members; a pressure member carried out pressure contact with a first support member via the belt and forming a nip between them; a second support member located downstream of the nip, having a predetermined curvature radius, and pressing the belt; and a heating means for heating the belt.
