PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-and-cold-water mixing valve capable of mixing hot water and cold water excellently and capable of preferably suppressing and preventing fluctuation of water discharge temperature regardless of fluctuation of cold water supply pressure and hot water supply pressure. SOLUTION: The hot-and-cold-water mixing valve has a hot water flow-in port and a cold water flow-in port, a valve element 20 provided with a hot water side valve part 24 and a cold water side valve part, a mixing chamber, a temperature sensing spring for automatically adjusting position of the valve element 20 and a bias spring. A flow-in ratio of the hot water and the cold water is changed by largely changing opening of the hot water flow-in port and small changing the opening of the hot water flow-in port as a result of movement of the valve element 20 in one of axial directions and by small changing the opening of the hot water flow-in port and largely changing the opening of the cold water flow-in port as a result of movement of the valve element 20 in an opposite direction. In the hot-and-cold-water mixing valve, a spiral groove 114 for causing a hot water flow to spiral flow is provided in a hot water introduction passage. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
