PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a water splash prevention board permitting the user to easily work without causing interference of the extending arms of the user working in front of the sink with the water splash prevention board, and provide a water splash prevention device permitting the user to easily extend both arms without feeling disadvantage even if the device is kept installed to the edge of the sink in a state of not requiring installation of the water splash prevention device because a water splash prevention device becomes an obstacle and hinders work of a user in the case of working using a water splash prevention board on the edge of the sink, up to now. SOLUTION: Preferably, the guard board face should be wide and positioned high as much as possible for effectively avoiding splash. However, if a wide board face positioned high is simply used, convenience of use is lowered and work is hindered. Therefore, the size has to be limited. In terms of the planar shape of the splash guard board, two side corners of the upper side section of the guard board face are cut and removed to form arm access sections allowing a user to extend the arm easily for solving the conventional problem.
