PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joiner for connecting panels together, which enables the easy formation of a panel wall excellent in airtightness. SOLUTION: This joiner comprises first and second sandwiching plates 1 and 2 for holding a side part of the panel P for connection in a sandwiching state from front and back sides; a pair of engaging plates 3 are provided on the inner surface of the first sandwiching plate 1; and an insertion plate 4, which is inserted between the pair of engaging plates 3, is provided on the inner surface of the second engaging plate 2. Opposed surfaces of the insertion plate 4 and the engaging plate 3 are provided with engaging means 6 for holding the first and second sandwiching plates 1 and 2 in a connected state by preventing the coming-off of the insertion plate 4. The first and second sandwiching plates 1 and 2 are held in the connected state by inserting the insertion plate 4 into the pair of engaging plates 3; the side part of the panel P is inserted and pressed in between the first and second sandwiching plates 1 and 2; curved parts 5, which are provided in the side parts of the first and second sandwiching plates 1 and 2, are elastically deformed; the panel P is held in a sandwiched state by restoring elasticity thereof; and the airtightness is maintained by the close adhesion of the side to the panel P.
