PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a variable attenuator for easily acquiring desired attenuation quantity. SOLUTION: This variable attenuator is configured by connecting a series switch resistance 6 where a switch 6a is serially connected to a resistor 6b to a series switch resistance 7 where a switch 7a is serially connected to a resistance 7b in parallel with a series resistance 3, and connecting parallel switches 8 to 11 to the middle of parallel resistances 4 and 5. Thus, it is possible to obtain desired attenuation quantity only by switching the switches 6a and 7a and the parallel switches 8 to 11 as necessary. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
