PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording tape cartridge preventing a leader pin from separating from holding sections when not used and reducing a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The recording tape cartridge 10 comprises the leader pin 30 which is attached to the end of a recording tape T, and is formed with flanges 36 at both ends, the holding sections 40 which are formed in an upper case 14 and a lower case 16, and hold the flanges 36 of the leader pin 30 near an opening 18, overhang sections 44 which are formed in the holding sections 40 and overlap on the flanges 36 on an inner surface 36B side of the flanges 36, and locking sections 45 which are elastically deformably formed in the holding sections 40 and energize the flanges 36 in the axial direction of the leader pin 30.
