PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of finely adjusting a position of a detection area of an obstacle detection device for monitoring a neighborhood to a shutter box by simple operation. SOLUTION: The elevator device is provided with a jamb; a door; a sensor 31; and an adjustment unit 32. The jamb restricts an entrance/exit port by a pair of vertical frames upwardly extending from a floor and an upper frame 13 laid between upper ends of the pair of vertical frames. The door opens/closes the entrance/exit port. The sensor 31 is mounted on the upper frame 13 and detects a reflection light when a detection light downwardly projected along the door is reflected by an object intruded into a detection area set to the upper side of the floor. The adjustment unit 32 displaces the position of the detection area to a first direction and a second direction crossing to the first direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
