PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hall lantern of an elevator provided with a horn hole to discharge acoustic waves from a sounding body such as a speaker to the outside on a rear face side of a hall lantern main body and has a space to discharge the acoustic waves to the outside in a space with a surface of a wall mounted with the hall lantern. SOLUTION: This hall lantern is provided with an illuminating body 1 having an opened back face, formed into a box-shape and having translucency, a luminous body 2 provided in the illuminating body 1 and turned on by receiving a lighting signal from the outside, a rear plate 3 provided to close the opening part of the back face of the illuminating body 1, the sounding body 4 mounted on the rear plate 3 and arranged in a space formed between the luminous body 2 and the rear plate 3, the horn hole 5 provided at the mounting position of the sounding body 4 of the rear plate 3 to discharge the acoustic waves generated from the sounding body 4 to the outside, and mounting means 6 and 8 for mounting the rear plate 3 by holding a fixed distance from a mounting wall 7.
