PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersant excellent in dispersing properties, resistance against chemicals in a vehicle, and demonstrating an excellent chemical resistance and solvent resistance after the vehicle is heat-cured. SOLUTION: A vinyl polymer main chain (A) includes 0.3 to 3.0 pieces of carboxyl group containing unit (G) represented by formula (1) per one vinyl polymer molecule, and further includes a crosslinking functional group containing unit (I) represented by at least one of general formulae (51)-(55).
