PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet corresponding to the new era devised such that even a man still accustomed to urinate in a standing posture can shift to urination while sitting without the feeling of incompatibility while the number of men who urinate in a sitting posture on a household Western-style toilet is increasing due to the change of the lifestyle in recent years. SOLUTION: The toilet seat of this toilet is integrated with a toilet main body and is not released. The toilet seat is locked by the attaching shaft of the toilet seat and is unlocked by a cleaning lever provided on the side of the toilet. Also, the gap between the toilet seat and the toilet main body is almost eliminated so that the toilet seat is not erroneously lifted and the edge of the toilet seat is shaped such that a finger is not easily hooked. In addition, by using a U-shaped buffer material, the leakage of urine from the gap between the toilet seat and the toilet is completely stopped. By notifying that the freely openable and closable toilet seat is not fixed later but it is designed as it is from the beginning, a user is convinced and the toilet is kept clean.
