PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laver net washing apparatus capable of completely removing a laver net sticking to a used laver net, and achieving reduction, reuse and recycle of resources, and to provide a laver net washing method using the apparatus. SOLUTION: This laver net washing apparatus comprises a washing chamber which has an entrance allowing a laver net to be washed to go into, and an exit allowing a washed laver net to go back so as to jet high pressure water to the nearly linearly bound laver net to be washed, at least one high pressure nozzle which is supported in the washing chamber, and a holding means fixed into the washing chamber so as to hold a laver net to be washed in a freely movable manner in the washing chamber.
