<p>Degree of atmospheric pollution (e.g., concentration of CO<SUB>2</SUB>) is suppressed as much as possible at a place where a drying tumbler is installed even if refrigerant (e.g., CO<SUB>2</SUB> refrigerant) is leaked from the refrigerant circuit of the drying tumbler. The drying tumbler comprises a storage tank (2) for storing clothing, an air outlet (12) for supplying air to the storage tank, an air exhaust opening (11) for exhausting air in the storage tank, an air duct (16) for connecting the air exhaust opening and the air outlet and circulating air, a drain channel (26) provided at a low portion in the air duct and discharging drain water in the air duct, a fan (21) for circulating air in the air duct from the air exhaust opening toward the air outlet, a heat absorber (22) for cooling air in the air duct supplied by means of the fan, a radiator (23) provided in the air duct in the downstream of the heat absorber and heating the air cooled by the heat absorber, and a circuit for supplying refrigerant to the heat absorber. When a refrigerant leak detection means (24) detects leakage of refrigerant, air flow from the radiator to the air outlet is interrupted and the air in the storage tank is exhausted to the drain channel by sucking outside air.</p> |
