PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display circuit components on a screen in a clear way when a plurality of components of the same kinds are displayed in an adjacent relationship by displaying the attribute of only a typical component among them, while not displaying attributes of the other components of the same kinds. SOLUTION: A CAD device, which allows the designing of a circuit by displaying symbols of circuit components on a display 102 and connecting the symbols using a line on a screen with the symbols stored in a storage part 104 as data, has a means for searching for the attributes of the circuit components, and a circuit component display control means which uses the search means to see whether or not the attributes of adjacent components are the same and which, if the search indicates that they are the same, controls the display to display only the attributes of the circuit components.
