A stock level recordal device is located at said storage location such as a shelf, has user-input means 1, 2 for indicating the subtraction from or addition to the stock level at the storage location, communicates data relating to this subtraction or addition to a remote station, and has a display 3 for displaying information relating to this subtraction or addition and/or stock level to a user. The communication may be wireless, the display be LCD, the device may operate in a sleep mode and the user input means 1, 2 may be used for subtraction and addition respectively. A system may include several stock level recordal devices. Before use, a data storage means of each stock level recordal device stores no data or substantially identical data. The device may be used with clinical supplies stock. |
