METHOD FOR SERVICING CALLING IDENTIFICATION DISPLAY BY USING MULTIMEDIA CONTENTS

A CID(Calling Identification Display) service method using multimedia contents is provided to solve a problem of privacy violation by realizing a CID service using multimedia contents instead of text type. A server or a calling terminal transmits a predetermined identification code to a called terminal in the process of a call connection or a communication channel connection with the called terminal. The called terminal receives the identification code. The called terminal extracts the multimedia contents corresponding to the received identification code from a memory, which stores a plurality of multimedia contents and corresponding identification codes after associating the contents with codes, or confirms the associated multimedia contents. The called terminal outputs the extracted or confirmed multimedia contents.
