Provided is a tea roasting system, which allows uniform roasting of tea leaves and rapid discharged of roasted tea leaves, controls roasting temperature and time, and improves a unique taste of Korean tea. The tea roasting system comprises: a U-shaped roasting pot having a gas burner and an opening(116); a spinning wheel-type agitator including a shaft supported by a bearing(131), a support(133) perpendicular to the shaft and agitation blades(134) disposed on the end of the support in parallel to the shaft; and a support member including a bracket and a support for supporting the bracket. In the tea roasting system, the opening(116) is opened at the bottom thereof when the roasting pot is inclined by a hinge(116) formed at the top of the roasting pot. Additionally, the upper part of the opening(116) protrudes more outwardly as compared to the lower part thereof in order to prevent tea leaves discharged from the system from jamming in the system.
