PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide silver salt particles of a nitrogen contained hetero ring compound of new shape, and to provide a heat developable light sensitive material superior in manufacture stability. SOLUTION: In the silver salt particles of the nitrogen contained hetero ring compound which are flat particles, when a long diameter (denoted by (a)) of flatness exists, an intermediate diameter (denoted by (b)) exists and a short distance (denoted by (c)) exists, a ratio ((b)/(c)) of the intermediate diameter (b) and the short diameter (c) exceeds 10. The heat developable light sensitive material contains at least photosensitive silver halide, non-photosensitive organic silver salt and a reducing agent on at least one face of a support. In the silver salt particles of the nitrogen contained hetero ring compound, the non-photosensitive organic silver salt has the shape described above. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
