PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing for an electric apparatus which can prevent a user from getting an electric shock as a result from touching a conductive part such as a circuit board in the housing when detaching the cover of the housing in order to, for instance, replace a device in the housing or attach an additional device, and to provide an electric device and a projector which are provided with the housing. SOLUTION: The housing 1, which has in its rear face an opening 3 through which the female connector 5a of a power source cord 5 is inserted, is provided with a bottom cover 17 attached or detached in a direction along the rear face. The bottom cover 17 has a frame portion 19 in which an opening 19a is made. The bottom cover 17 is attached to the housing 1 so that the opening 19a of the frame portion 19 is disposed opposite to the opening 3 of the housing 1. The female connector 5a inserted from the opening 3 is passed through the opening 19a of the frame portion 19 and connected to a male connector in the housing 1.
