LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display having no display irregularity and no enlarged change of a gap even in a detour part of a transfer in a sealing material. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display: the gap between an array substrate 12 and a counter substrate 14 in the sealing material 16 is set larger than the gap in a display region; the sealing material 16 is arranged to be detoured in the inner peripheral side of both the substrates 12 and 14 at a position of the transfer 22; a step is provided in a height of the array substrate 12 in the height of the array substrate 12 and a part other than it in the detour part; and the height of the detour part is set lower than the other part.
