PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust, without affecting other properties, a color which a user finds preferable so as to achieve faithful reproduction of colors, such as flesh color. SOLUTION: The display device comprises a display section wherein an image display range is divided into a plurality of areas and the respective divided areas 31-34 are displayed with different color temperatures; a drive circuit section which adjusts the respective divided areas 31-34 of the display section into prescribed color temperatures, respectively; an operation section for the user to select a desired divided area from among the respective divided areas 31-34 of the display section; and a control section which detects a signal from a color temperature selection section and controls the drive circuit section so that the whole image display range is displayed in the color temperature of the selected divided area.
