PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter device capable of keeping the high quality of a photographic image by uniformizing a quantity of exposure for each of the parts of an imaging face, regardless of the difference in exposure time between them, even when the shutter is disposed near the imaging face. SOLUTION: The shutter device has an exposure quantity adjuster 3 which is retractable, with respect to the position where the imaging face 4 is covered, in order to adjust the difference in a quantity of exposure between the parts of the imaging face 4 due to the difference in exposure time between them, caused by allowing the shutter 2 when the shutter is operated, to move on the imaging face 4 from its retracted position to a position where the imaging face 4 of the imaging element 1 is covered. In the exposure adjuster 3, when the imaging face 4 is covered, a higher light transmissivity is set for the part, corresponding to a shorter exposure time among the parts of the imaging face 4.
