PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method and a device that can lose no shutter opportunity, simply obtain an image with a desired viewing angle and easily confirm focusing before recording. SOLUTION: Before recording and storing image data acquired in response to depression of a release button to a memory card or the like, a liquid crystal monitor displays the image as a preview image. A user can use an up/down/left/ right key to designate image edit (trimming) such as magnification, reduction, rotation, movement, and segmentation of part of the image on the basis of the preview image. When the user gives a trimming command, proper image processing is conducted according to the command and the liquid crystal monitor displays the processed result. The user enters an instruction of storage of the image after obtaining the image with a desired viewing angle to store the image after processing to a recording medium. In this case, the user may record the image before processing at the same time or record either one of the images selectively. |
