The device (1) has a set of compartments (2) for being inflated by a fluid and air. The compartments include fluid feeds and vent orifices (4-1, 4-2). Solenoid valves (3-1, 3-2) enable the fluid feed and fluid vent to be controlled for the compartments. Each of the solenoid valves co-operates with or is integrated in one of the feeds and vent orifices. Each of the solenoid valve is dedicated for filling and emptying a single compartment, and the valves do not cooperate with or not being integrated in a manifold type unit.
