The invention relates to a valve for controlling a fluid, especially for controlling a gas, said valve comprising a valve housing receiving an actuating unit for an armature that is guided in the valve housing in an axially displaceable manner, and a valve closing member, the front side of said valve closing member being provided with a sealing element (29) that interacts with a valve seat (21) embodied on a seat plate (26) in such a way that a fluid flow through the flow openings (28) of the seat plate (26) can be controlled. The valve seat (21) is formed by an essentially annular inner projection (30) and an essentially annular outer projection (31), and the flow openings (28) are arranged between the inner projection (30) and the outer projection (31). |
