PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily determine whether the door of a heating chamber is properly closed or not, when closing the door, while smoothing the closing operation of the door by a cushioning effect. SOLUTION: This device comprises the door 6 for opening and closing an opening part 4 of the heating chamber 3, a door switch 9 operated in interlocking with opening and closing of the door 6, a door arm 7 having one end rotatably mounted on the door 6, a spring 12 having one end mounted on the door arm 7 and pulling the door arm 7 to give a force in the direction of closing the door 6 in close contact with a front plate 5 of the opening part 4, and a rotating arm (attenuation means) 35 for giving an attenuating force in the direction of reducing the closing speed of the door 6 at the time of closing the door 6. The attenuation means 35 gives the attenuating force when the closing angle of the door 6 is smaller than a predetermined angle at the time of closing the door 6, and reduces the attenuating force until the door 6 is closed in contact with the front plate 5.
