Use of fatty acid derivatives as additives for binders, which is useful for gluing wood particles and/or wood fibers in the manufacture of wood materials. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a binder composition for gluing wood- fiber and/or -particle in wood material, comprising at least one binder and at least one additive as reaction product; (2) a wood material, obtained by gluing wood fiber and/or wood particle with binding composition; and (3) a procedure for the production of wood material, comprising providing wood fiber and/or wood particle with a binder to form chip mats or fiber mats; pressing the chip- or fiber mats at increased temperature to form a plate; and additionally providing a fatty acid derivatives as additive before, simultaneously or together with a binder. |
