Method and apparatus for drying crystalline carboxylic acids

The drying process for crystalline carbonic acids involves mechanical drying in a first dryer (1) and feeding by a screw conveyor (2) to a fluidized bed produced by a fan (5) in a second dryer (3), then to a heat exchanger (4), drying it at a temperature not exceeding 100[deg] C, preferably not exceeding 90[deg] C and best not exceeding 80[deg] C, producing a product in which the moisture content is less than 1200 ppm (parts per million), preferably less than 700 ppm and best less than 350 ppm.
