Bolus for radiotherapy and method of determining the shape of such a bolus

The bolus (10) has polyurethane gel composed of a mixture of 82 to 90 percent polyol and 8 to 10 percent isocyanate, where the bolus is plated on a body volume (11) and presents a shape to place a maximum irradiation dose in a predefined target (15) within the body. Density of the bolus is equal to 1, and the shape of the bolus is formed such that the bolus adapts a body surface (18) and a thickness of the target assembly. The bolus is substantially same throughout a treatment zone. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining a shape of a bolus.
