The invention relates to a lock (100) to control a valve (400). Such a valve comprises a stem (401) extending outwardly of a valve body (403) of the valve (400); said stem (401) is rotatable in order to control the valve (400) opening and closing. Furthermore, the lock (100) comprises a drum (101) adapted to be rotatably fastened to the stem (401). The lock includes a rotor (12) in order to be actuated between a closure position and an opening position. The lock is characterized in that the drum (101) comprises a first portion (10) and a second portion (30) that can be reversibly fixed one to the other.
